Week Six Writing Assignment

Usually, I do not like a conflict, and avoid a conflict. However, in response to the book, I have changed my mind.


After I have begun the part time job in Japanese style pub, I have understood our society is so unreasonableness. I can see　it when I am working. For example, sometimes the pub is dull, and I do not have something to work. I spend time doing nothing. Then, a senior worker always says to me, " Do something!". However, I have seen she does nothing when she is free, just talking with co-workers. I can see she goofs off the work.

Under normal conditions, it is better to say to a senior worker that it is unreasonableness. However, I cannot say such a thing because she is older than me and I do not have a courage to say so. I avoid conflict and leave the situation as it stands.

If I compete the conflict, it might have a bad relationship between a senior worker and me on a temporary basis, but maybe it is a good opportunity how to manage this situation and listen other person's idea and understand with each other. I want to try not to avoid the situation no matter how the situation is. There is a possibility to get a good situation in a long term vision.
